UKVIS is an emerging concept for improving the consistency, quality and interoperability of vehicle identity information across the UK automotive ecosystem.
Overview
Vehicle identity information is used across manufacturers, government, registration processes, data providers and many downstream services. Differences in coding, terminology and data quality can create unnecessary complexity.
SDI is exploring how a common Vehicle Identity Standard could improve interoperability between organisations and create a stronger basis for future digital vehicle services.
